Merman is the second Beast Form that Luke Custer acquires in Project Altered Beast. The Merman is unique due to being the only beast capable of progressing through underwater areas.
Appearance[]
Merman resembles a lizard with fins. However, it's as large as a human.
Story[]
The Merman form is obtained from defeating Leviathan, the boss of Area 2.
Abilities[]

Description[]
"This Beast Form was developed by following specific biological data provided by the government. Though the source of the data is unclear the MERMAN's aquatic abilities have highly strategic uses on the battlefield. The MERMAN Form is capable of encasing highly compressed bubbles of air in a thin mucous layer that can be launched at targets for deadly results. While the results of the experiment have proven quite successful, the unknown nature of the species upon which the MERMAN is based leaves far too many unknowns. Further research is quite necessary."
Obtention[]
At Area 2, the Beast Data for Merman will be on the other side of the bars where the first glimpse of the boss is seen. It can be taken normally upon progressing through the level after defeating the boss.
